Autie Arthur Bell JR's Obituary
"Expected and modeled everything to be its best and done its best."
Our hearts are filled with memories as we remember Autie, who passed away on April 6th, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington, the city where he was born and raised.
Born on April 29th, 1968, Autie embraced every moment with enthusiasm and infectious optimism. He was the kind of person who made you feel special just by being around him.
He had a deep love for sports, especially football, and could often be found cheering on his favorite team, the Seattle Seahawks, surrounded by family and friends. Sundays weren't just about the game but about togetherness, laughter, and his legendary barbecues. His joy for hosting brought everyone together, and no one could resist his perfectly grilled ribs.
Blue was more than just his favorite color; it reflected his calm and confident spirit. Whether it was wearing his lucky blue shirt on game days or painting rooms in shades of blue, it always reminded us of his steady presence.
Family meant everything to Autie. He shared a beautiful life with his wife, Alicia Bell, and together they cherished their daughter, Alicia Bell, who was the light of his life. He was a devoted son to his mother, June Bell, and carried on the legacy of his late father, Autie Arthur Bell SR.
He shared special bonds with his cousins Vanessa Banner, Kelly Sukola, Donald Sukola, and Chuck Sukola, and his aunt Vernetta Sukola. His friends were like family too—Mitchell Jackson, his best friend; Christopher Arnold, his childhood friend; and Larry Austin, his dear friend—all held a special place in his heart.
Autie was supportive, determined, hardworking, compassionate, and confident. He was generous with his time, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. His motto, "Expected and modeled everything to be its best and done its best," wasn't just something he said but something he lived by.
His legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless memories we shared. He taught us the importance of family, the joy of simple pleasures, and the power of optimism.
As we remember him, let's carry forward his spirit by embracing life as he did—with generosity, intelligence, and a beautiful heart inside and out.
