Audley "Ed" Reynolds' Obituary
Mr. Audley “Ed” Edward Reynolds, 75, of Spanaway, Washington, passed away on July 20, 2022, at Madigan Army Medical Center in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
Ed was born on April 14, 1947, in Noxapater, Mississippi, moving to Washington as a teen where he met the love of his life, Judy Kay Virden, in church. He graduated in 1965 from Bethel High School in Spanaway, married Judy on June 12, 1966, and together they had two sons, James Anthony Reynolds, and Jeffrey Andrew Reynolds. Ed served 12 years in the United States Army Military Police Corps, from 1966 to 1978 when he medically retired as Sargent First Class. He then worked for the State of Washington Juvenile Correction Center until he retired in 1999. Ed loved science and history, sports, he was an avid bowler who loved to teach others, he loved cars, and most importantly his family.
Ed is survived by his wife, Judy Reynolds, two sons, James, and Jeffrey, six grandchildren, David, Jeffrey, Jordan, Sidney, Kayla, and Mariah, eleven great-grandchildren, Jakob, Ean, Kailer, Mykel, Peyton, Parker, Ashlyn, Lyric, Dakoda, Silas, Nova, and one on the way. He is also survived by his siblings, Paul and Barbara.
