I took Obachan to work for a few weeks, when her car broke down. We would go to Jim Moore's for coffee, before taking her to work on McChord Air Force Base. Although, I wasn't a morning person, due to my work, but she was a second mom; and I didn't mind being her chauffeur for a few weeks. I remember her Curry Rice with whole Chicken Wings; that was my favorite food, she made. Growing up with Obachan, Ricky, Brenda, and Bobby was like having an extended family, living next door. I walked the kids to school, watched over them while our moms were working; it was a normal day-to-day life and I loved it. We have many happy memories, to cherish. You are so loved and missed.
