Arthur Theodore Turner, more fondly known as Ted of Tacoma, WA passed away on June 14, 2017. Born November 11, 1947 in Medford, OR. Ted is survived by his wife of 39 years, Kim Turner, his daughter Catrina Clarke (Brian), his son Read Obituary
I was privileged to have worked with Ted at Fort Lewis in the late 80s and early 90's during the Desert Storm time. I was a brand new attorney who learned from her Military Police how to become a prosecutor. Ted was instrumental in this education. He was experienced, compassionate and knowledgeable which as a cop is just the perfect combination to make sure justice is done. if I am any good at what I did and have become as a former district county attorney and district judge in the civil world, much of that is based on the quality of mentors with whom I was blessed. Ted was certainly one of the best and as time went on he became my friend. I am lucky to have been taught and befriend by a man I respected as much as Ted. He gave much of his life to the service of this country. He hurt often and never complained. I am proud to have learned from and gotten to know him. He will be deeply missed but I trust God will have plans for him that will bring more riches to those he loves and served.
