Aunt Byrdie, Robin, David, Gary, and family,
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Uncle Art. We were pleased to be able to communicate with you during this last month. It was not an easy time, and Jeanne and I know all to well. I hope that whatever we shared with you helped ease the burden. However, the end of a life, especially one so full and wonderful as your Dad's, is never easy. As you so aptly said in Art's remembrances, he is indeed in God's Kingdom, a place he so richly deserves.
Jeanne, Kara, and I will remember fondly our trip to Tacoma so many years ago now. We had an absolutely wonderful time visiting with everyone. I will remember his kindness and concern for me on my last ill-fated visit. We will be forever disappointed that we didn't get back to visit on more happier circumstances.
We wish all of you well, as you move forward carrying with you all the great and meaningful memories that belong to the life of your Dad. Cherish all of them. Please keep the communication lines open, and so will we.
All our love and best wishes to all of you!
