Arthur "Art" F. Jestice's Obituary
SSG Arthur F. Jestice (Retired) of Tacoma, WA passed away on January 3rd, 2019. Arthur was born April 14, 1927 in Wheat, TN to Dave Jestice and Elsie Freels. Arthur served in the U.S Army for 20 years retiring in August of 1968. His second career and passion was working and cooking in the restaurant business.Other than his talent for the culinary skills Art was an avid hunter, a skilled fisherman, and loved camping with friends. His onerousness is what people will remember most of him with many laughs and a lot of love.
Art is preceded in death by his late wife, Irene Jestice. Art and Irene were devoted, loving, and loyal to one another as they spent a beautiful 63 years by each other's side.
Art is survived by his nephews, Eddie Jestice (Sherry),Volker Bielefeld and niece Conela Genwel.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held

at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park
Lakewood, WA
Coffee and cake will be provided after the service at the German coffee shop in Lakewood, WA
