Dear Sister Rhoads & Family. I am saddened to learn of the passing of Brother Rhoads. I have very fond memories of him as my Pastor at WHC in Phx, AZ and he was also over the Wesleyan Holiness Christian Day School the year I attended. The Rhoads' were always so Christ-like, sweet and loving!! I am glad that Brother Rhoads has made it Home to Heaven, although it leaves such a void in our lives of we who remain behind. I loved the Rhoads and even though I've not seen them for a few years now, my love for them has never wavered!!! May all the wonderful memories of him, help you through this time. Aunt Rachel (and family),

I am now the Discipleship Director at a Christian School in the panhandle of Florida. On Tuesday we had Pastor Appreciation Day. This event is to show appreciation for our local pastors by including them in our weekly worship service, then we provide them a catered BBQ lunch. Though he was not "my pastor" I spoke of Uncle Armen during my talk. I spoke about how from a young (unregenerate) boy's perspective I loved how you and grandma would cook so many delicious dishes for us. Then I took a moment to reflect on the impact you two had on me as a now regenerate disciple of our Beloved Christ Jesus. What I remember about the two of you is that your lips were always filled with praise for God. I never heard one negative comment from you. I said that I want to be like that. I want my lips to sing nothing but Hallelujah's to the Risen King who died in my place. I want to live a life of overflowing joy in Christ Jesus that others too will turn and worship the King of kings and the Lord of Lords! So I thank God for the deep joy in Him that He gave the two of you. I thank God for the deep impact that the two of you now play in my life as a believer in Christ Jesus!

I was saddened to hear of the passing of "Rother Bhoads," but am glad that he is now in perfect health and with perfect recall. I only hold one thing against him . . . that time when he (and the immediate Rhoads family) ate rattlesnake in Arizona and you didn't save me a bite! But I can forgive that little oversight! May God enfold and undergird you all and be the refuge for each of you that He has promised to be.

Aunt Rachel, Chris, Steve and families...We are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Armen was a wonderful, sweet man. We have such wonderful memories of both of you when you visited Indiana. Aunt Rachel, I still have the bread recipe you wrote down the day you showed me how to make homemade bread. I usually make cinnamon rolls and I think of you every time.
