Ann and Chuck were close and dear friends of my parents’ since 1956, well before I was born. I have such fond childhood memories of being at their beautiful farm house at Christmas time. Ann was always a kind, friendly and welcoming host. As I grew older Ann never missed an opportunity to participate in major life events, from attending wedding showers and family events, to making hand-made gifts for our soon-to-be-born daughters. And remarkably, she never failed to remember a birthday or anniversary with a greeting card. I’m so grateful to have known Ann and thankful for the memories I have of her. The friendship she and Chuck had with my parents was special and unique, and enriched my and my family’s life.
