Andrea L Moawad's Obituary
Andrea L. Moawad passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 29, 2025.
She was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Bob Moawad Sr., her son Trevor, and other family members who preceded her in death.
Born in Georgia and raised in Seattle, Andrea attended Cleveland High School and earned a degree in speech therapy from the University of Washington. She devoted 20 years to the Clover Park School District as a speech therapist, helping countless students. Later, she pursued her passion for interior design, building a successful career and serving as President of the Northwest Society of Interior Designers.
Andrea married the love of her life, Bob Moawad, on June 6, 1964. She embraced life with energy and adventure, enjoying skiing, tennis, horseback riding, and traveling. One of her proudest accomplishments was climbing Mount Rainier with her husband and son. She was also deeply committed to community service and served on several local boards.
Andrea is survived by her son, Bob Moawad Jr., and her cherished grandchildren, Bo and Grace Moawad.
A memorial service will be held on February 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, Aspen Chapel, Tacoma, Washington. (Follow the Blue line to the Aspen chapel at the Celebration of Life Center)
