Andie Leigh's Obituary
Andie Leigh, age 33, passed away on July 20, 2025, in Puyallup, Washington. Born on May 25, 1992, in Glendale, Arizona, Andie lived her life with purpose, creativity, and deep compassion.
Three years ago, Andie made a move from Arizona to Washington State — a transition she embraced wholeheartedly. She fell in love with the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and forged a meaningful bond with the outdoors, often spending her time exploring the natural landscapes that surrounded her.
Andie found fulfillment in her work with the Washington State Department of Transportation, where she dedicated herself to supporting marginalized communities. Her work was grounded in a strong sense of justice and a desire to make systems more equitable and humane. Her colleagues knew her as a passionate advocate, a creative problem solver, and someone who never lost sight of the people behind the policies.
But above all, Andie’s greatest joy in life was her daughter, Halston. Being a mother was at the center of her heart, and she poured love, strength, and encouragement into every moment they shared. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with laughter, creativity, and endless love.
Andie had a vibrant, active spirit — she loved playing softball and soccer, taking on DIY projects, and creating art. She brought imagination and flair to everything she touched. Her creativity was as boundless as her empathy.
She will be remembered for her courage, her fierce love, her sense of humor, and her unwavering commitment to making the world a better place — for her daughter, her community, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her beloved daughter Halston, and a community of family, friends, and colleagues who will carry her memory forward with love.
