We would just like to thank Anne for helping us to recover from a hopeless state of mind and body. She is going to be missed by us and countless other recovering addicts whos life she has touched. She is one of the few people I have know who truly made a difference in our society.

Anne was my friend and colleague at PTTC for 13 years. We often laughed together and treasured each other. I valued her counsel and the times when she would raise her eyes and in her characteristic manner question my reasoning. We, of course, would work out an accomodation that in the end would be a better approach then either of us would come up with on our own. What a colleague!
She loved her family and often talked with pride about them. We both were real good at talking our families up!
As I think of Anne now, I will honor her by continuing to use humor whenever engaged in a conflictual situation. It works well and I often saw her use such an approach effectively in her conflicts.##imported-begin##andy benjamin##imported-end##

Ann will always be in my heart. she was there for me throughout the years she would always pray with me and I would go to her for comfort. Ann loved her job and the people she helped I know this time is so hard for you all but remember she is with her beloved John and no more suffering.

In the short fifteen years that I was able to have Annie in my life the times were quite memorable. We worked together at the Puyallup Tribal Treatment Center. She was one of our Outpatient counselors and I was the IOP counselor. She was one of the best!! Her heart was GOLD and true. We shared alot of tears and alot of laughs. I have enormous respect for her. I loved to kid her about her New York accent. She was a fiesty one. I know she thought of me as being "Wacko" (Anne knows what I mean when I use that word).
There is no doubt in my mind that Anne has gone to meet up with her Johnny. She missed him terribly since the moment he passed.
I give my heartfelt sympathy to Roni, Staci, and Ramona. You must remember the goodness that your Mother or Grandmother bestowed upon you. She loved you all so much. Take care of each other and that will be a great gift to her.
I will miss Anne so much, too. I think about her craziness on Halloween's. Remember the time she dressed up like a hooker (she played the role all day and every time I seen her I thought I would die laughing).
Anne was like a mother to me. She was always there with a caring ear. She will always have a special place in my heart. I know she will take care of all the kittys in heaven though. I love you Annie Donahue.##imported-begin##Kathy and Tim Miller##imported-end##
