Celebrating the life of Alma Marie Guizzetti
December 9th, 1925 – April 26, 2025
Alma Guizzetti was born in Sadalia, Missouri, to Sherman L. Shoe and Eva M. Cross on December 9th, 1925. She was one of six children. She passed away April 26, 2025, at the age of 99. Her family moved to Puyallup when she was 8 years old. At the age of 15 she met the love of her life, Joe Guizzetti. While Joe served in World War 2, they exchanged letters waiting for his return. Alma graduated from Puyallup High School in 1944. Upon Joes return they married, a love story that lasted 75 years. They bought a farm in Puyallup where they raised their three children. Alma loved country music and dancing with her husband every Saturday night.
Alma is survived by her three children, Daughter Virginia Erickson (Dave), Son Joe Guizzetti, Son Steven Guizzetti (Mary), 4 Grandchildren, 2 Step grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Step Great Grandchildren.
