Alex Pozarich's Obituary
Alex Pozarich was born in Roslyn, Washington on July 17, 1911. He went home to be with the LORD in Vancouver, Washington on June 3, 2003. Alex was a sport enthusiast and played minor league baseball for a time in the tri-cities. He was an avid hiker and enjoyed the beauty surrounding Mt. Rainier in a family cabin in Nachez, Washington. During his life he was a member of the Elks Lodge and was an accountant by vocation. He worked for the state tax commission and auditorÂ's office as well as with private accounts. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Billie Irene.He is survived by his daughters, Arleen OÂ'Brien of Tacoma, Janice Bryant of Vancouver, Washington; granddaughter, Eryn OÂ'Brien Markee of Lincoln Park, New Jersey; and brothers, Tony and Ed of Yakima and Nick of SeaTac.A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, June 7, 2003 at Mountain View Memorial Park, Tacoma. Pastor John Wright of New Heights Church in Vancouver, Washington will officiate.
