Oh my gosh...was out of town and spent this last weekend catching up reading thru newspapers that I missed while I was away...I was SO SORRY to come across your Dad's obit! I have to tell you both that I really do have wonderful memories of growing up on good ol' 8th Street and having you as neighbors. I remember how nice your yard and lawn always looked and how afraid we were to run on it...we were afraid that "Mr. P." would come out and squirt us with a hose!...isn't it wierd what memories we have...especially since you dad NEVER did squirt us or even threaten to squirt us! I remember him taking us to the hydroplane races and up to your great cabin.
Fun times. Anyway, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Been there, done that and it is not fun.
