Adelaida S. Liquigan's Obituary
Our beloved mother and grandmother (Lola), 80 years old, peacefully went to join her daughter, Louise, with the Lord on Friday, November 25, 2005. She was surrounded by her loving family.Born on December 16, 1924 in Juan Luna Manila, Philippines, she came to the U.S. in 1960 with her husband and family.She enjoyed spending quality time with her 6 children and many grandchildren, as well as preparing elaborate and authentic Filipino dishes. She was a great cook!Mom was the center of our family, always loving, caring, nurturing and deeply religious.We could always count on her being there, through thick or thin. We will miss her greatly.Preceded in death by daughter Louise. She is survived by sons Martin (Gig Harbor), Ruben and Maureen (California), and Gus (Tacoma); daughters Amy Recardo (Tacoma), and Elizabeth and Richard Kelley (University Place); 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.Mahal Kita Inay, your beautiful spirit will be with us always.Viewing will be from 1:00 to 9:00 PM, TODAY, at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at St. Charles Borromeo, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 PM at Calvary Cemetery.
