Darlene Anselmo

Today as we celebrate the Life of Darlene Anselmo, she would like for us to remember her smile, laughter and the love she had for all. She loved her family, was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Darlene was born on May 18th, 1950 to Don and Aletha Mahar. She was the fourth of five children, known as the DL’s. She married and had 2 children. After her marriage she moved to Washington state and found a job in civil service. While attending night schools she meet the love of her life, her soulmate Calvin(Butch) Anselmo and married him on June 28th, 1986. They would travel to Europe, Hawaii, Alaska, New York and California. Darlene loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and listening about their adventures. She loved her hobbies and enjoyed sewing and doing crafts for the holidays. Her home was always decorated for the holidays and she made the holidays special for everyone. Her Husband was by her side, along with daughter Angela and son Brian when she took her last breath on March 16th, 2022 and went to her Home in Heaven. She is remembered by her Husband Calvin, Daughter Angela Burger (Tim), Son Brian Joseph (Angela), Son/Grandson Daniel Anselmo, Grandchildren; Nathan King (Natalie), Meagan King, Shawn Hart, Audrie Sotelo (Kyle), Jeremy Joseph (Echo). Great Grandchildren; Geneva (Meagan), Caleb (Shawn), Brooklyn (Shawn), Hayden (Audrie), Baby Sylis ( Audrie), Baby Nehalem (Jeremy) and Baby King (Nathan). Brothers Dennis (Judy), and Darryl (Heidi), Sisters Donna and Delpha. Multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and life long friends. She is preceded in death by Father Donald Mahar and Mother Aletha Mahar.
