Linda Lee Redford peacefully passed in her sleep on Sunday September 17, 2017 at the age of 73 after a courageous year-long battle with cancer. Linda was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 27th, 1944. She graduated from Lin Read Obituary
Linda was one of the kindest people I have had the privelege to know. She always welcomed everyone with open arms and a smile. One of my last memories of her was her standing on my porch telling me what was going to happen next and that she hoped through her the doctors would be able to help someone else. All the time smiling at me! Linda you had a heart of gold and you will never be forgotten because we will all carry you in our hearts forever.
I grew up just a few houses down from the Redford's in Buckley, WA and quickly befriended Penny after we moved in. I spent so much time there that Linda became a second mom to me in many ways. She was always there working hard, getting after us for making messes but most importantly loving us and telling us to be careful when it looked like we were about to do something stupid (which was a lot, right Penny?). :) I cannot express how sad I am for the entire family after this lengthy fight with cancer. I got the pleasure of giving her a ride to one of her treatments on my birthday this past August. So of course we had to stop for birthday lunch! That was such a great memory that I will cherish forever. Always smiling and trying to make others feel better even when she was fighting the battle of her life.
