US Veteran Flag Placement
Please help us honor the veterans who fought and served our great country. Invite your family, friends, neighbors, service organizations, etc. to join us for breakfast at
8:00 a.m on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Flag placement begins at 8:30 a.m. Volunteers will meet at our Celebration of Life Center.
Joint Services Memorial Day Ceremony
Mountain View Memorial Park and the Pierce County Veterans Advisory Council cordially invites you to join us in the Garden of Honor at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 25th, 2026, as we pay honor and tribute to all the men and women who died serving our country.
Memorial Day Service Highlights Include:
- Keynote Speaker: Command Sergeant Major Jonathan E. Reffeor
- Patriotic Music featuring America's First Corp Band's Brass Quintet
- Wreath Laying Ceremony
- Presentation of Colors
- Buffalo Soldiers and their horses
Food will be available to purchase from Puget Sound Pizza by the Valley Chapel starting at noon until 4 pm.
US Veteran Flag Removal
We are seeking volunteers to help remove the flags starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30th. Donuts will be provided to volunteers in the main funeral home office parking lot.
