Zelda Marie Rodahl's Obituary
Zelda Marie Rodahl was born in Independence Kansas to Ivy May McDonald Dobson and David Albert Dobson on June 27, 1936.
The family moved to Northern California 6 months later finally settling in Red Bluff, California.
The family had a small farm raising peaches, prunes, almonds and walnuts.
Zelda's surviving family members include her husband, Larry Rodahl, her daughter Teresa Swick, son David Rodahl, a good group of grand children and 7 great grandchildren.
Zelda was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers-Eldon, Melvin and Donnie and 3 sisters-Opal, Annis and Janet. She has one remaining sister, Jeannie, residing in the Baltimore, MD area.
Zelda moved to the small town of Valdez, Alaska in the fall of 1954 to be with her older sister. Her sister Opal was a worker in a children's home.
In 1955 Zelda and and her future husband, Larry, graduated in a class of 7 from high school.
They married September 1, 1956.
Zelda and Larry lived in Missouri, Seattle, Germany, Tacoma, Arizona, and finally in Puyallup.
During Larry's army tour in Germany their Daughter Teresa was born in 1961. Their son David was born in 1965 in Tacoma.
Zelda will be membered by the family gathering together. We know that she is abiding with our Lord and will some day join her.
