Zaizaf A. Zakhary
Zaizaf A. Zakhary was born in Egypt December 5th, 1927 and passed away on October 16th, 2011. Early on in life she married her late husband Reed Zakhary- a Presbyterian minister. She joined him in ministry in Egypt, Bethlehem, Syria and Lebanon. On January 26th 1964 she, along with her family, immigrated from the middle east to Yakima, Washington. She spent the rest of her life in WA serving in ministries in the Columbia Basin, Onalaska and Tacoma. She later helped create the Bible Land Tours company, where she and her husband were able to take groups to see the holy land. Zaizaf was a member of Skyline Presbyterian church. She is survived by her son Rafat Zakhary; Daughters Evelyn Zakhary, Violette Zakhary and Suzan Zakhary; and seven grandchildren. Also by her brothers Souly Farag and Nabil Farag; sisters Minerva Mina and Narjis Daniel; eight nieces and nine nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Reed Zakhary, son Raouf Zakhary and brothers Shoukri and Shaker Farag. Visitation and viewing will be from 2 to 9 PM Friday, October 21st at Mt. View Funeral Home. Services at 11 AM Saturday, October 22nd at Skyline Presbyterian Church, 6301 Westgate Blvd. N., Tacoma. Remembrances can be made to Skyline Presbyterian Church.
