This Wednesday, December 16, 2020 you left to join your parents Jules and Léonie who saw you born on November 16, 1921 in this little corner of America which had welcomed them a year earlier. You grew up in this little house in the middle of this valley in Washington state, the mountains, forests, rivers and prairies were your playgrounds that forged your character and gave you the love of the nature. But nature takes back those she saw born, with your husband Don, you gave birth to three children; Anita, JoAnne and Don for whom today I have a very special thought of affection. You gave them the desire to start a family in their turn and this is how they say on this side of the Atlantic, in France, the family of America was born. Like my father Françis, I admire this success and sometimes I regret that he did not give in to his aunt's calls to join her in turn. We are not remaking history but we are doing it, also Yvonne, rest in peace near yours, I will come back to see you and your family in this vast and wonderful country where you have always warmly received us.
Your little cousin Philippe, who will be missed for a long time.
I'm grateful to have known Yvonne. She will live forever in our hearts.
