Yuot Ngan's Obituary
Yuot Ngan, born on March 3, 1975, in Cambodia, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington. He was a devoted father to his beloved children Estavon and Kylie and cherished son of Ngan and Loam. Yuot's life was marked by love for his family and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear.
As a fire alarm technician, Yuot dedicated himself to ensuring the safety of others while also nurturing a passion for the outdoors. Whether camping under starlit skies or casting lines into tranquil waters during fishing trips, he found joy in nature’s embrace. His enthusiasm for fitness inspired many around him; he believed that taking care of oneself was essential not just for personal health but as a way to be present for loved ones.
Yuot had an unbreakable bond with his siblings Setha and Viesna. Together they shared countless memories filled with laughter and support throughout their lives. As an uncle to Vierine, Vincent, and Calvin, Yuot took great pride in teaching them how to control remote-controlled cars—a pastime that brought out his playful spirit. The time spent together created lasting memories that will forever warm their hearts.
His sister-in-laws Cathy and Jandi were more than family; they were friends who shared moments of joy at gatherings filled with laughter over meals prepared together or stories exchanged late into the night.
The funeral service held on January 27th at Mountain View provided family members and friends an opportunity to celebrate Yuot's remarkable life—one defined by kindness, dedication to family values, adventure-seeking spirit—and above all else—the profound love he carried within him.
Though Yuot has left this world too soon at the age of 49 years old—his legacy will continue through Estavon’s determination as well as Kylie's strength; both embodying qualities instilled by their father's loving guidance. In every memory shared among those who knew him best—from joyous outdoor adventures downriver trails or quiet evenings spent tinkering with toys—Yuot Ngan remains alive within our hearts forevermore.
