Yoshiko (Sally) Nulph's Obituary
Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 in her native country of Japan while visiting family. Yoshiko was born January 11, 1927 in Nara, Japan. She married Edgar Nulph in a ceremony in Japan in 1952. They lived in Japan for a year where their first daughter, Frances Munro, married to Andy Munro, was born in 1953. They later moved to the United States. They had two more daughters, Patty Nulph, married to Frank Terrill and Cathy Nulph and Jim Ralph. Yoshiko traveled to Japan almost every year to visit her family and talked to her sister often. She was devoted to her family and was always ready to cook a meal when her daughters would visit. She loved sewing, knitting, crocheting, and making origami. For the past five years her constant companion has been her dog, Kuma. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Nulph in 1996. She will be dearly missed. Memorial service will be held Sunday, Nov 2, 12:00 PM at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood, WA. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society.
