Yoshiko Hartshorn's Obituary
Yoshiko Hartshorn, 91, of Port Orchard, Washington passed away on the evening of Thursday, June 8, 2017. Yoshiko was born in Takamatsu, Japan on April 25, 1926 to Jutaro Tani and Matsuyo Kurimoto. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Lloyd Newel Hartshorn. They were married March 5, 1956 in Ashiya, Fukuoka, Japan. They spent most of their life in Tacoma, Washington before retiring at the home they built in Port Orchard.
Yoshiko enjoyed good food, gardening, foraging for wild mushrooms and socializing with her friends.
She is survived by her children Donna, of Seattle, WA, Lloyd, of Tacoma, WA, Phillip, of Port Orchard, WA, and Nels, of Renton, WA.
