Yolanda "Yoyo" Nelson's Obituary
Yolanda Nelson was born on May 21st 1929 in Guebwiller, France. She came to America as a war bride and raised her children in Tacoma, Washington. She and Bob moved to Anderson Island in 1976 to a home they built. They had a wonderful life together serving the community and volunteering at the Anderson Island Gift Shop.
Yolanda worked as a switchboard operator for AT&T for over 30 years.
She was a devoted wife and mother. Yolanda was an inspiration to us all with her gentle spirit and genuine heart. She was always happy and positive. She wanted only the best for everyone and never once spoke an unkind word. Her generosity was freely given to all without measure.
We celebrate her life and are honored and grateful we were a part of it. We miss you deeply. May you rest in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.
Please honor the life and memory of Yolanda by leaving cherished memories, messages, and photos for her family on the guestbook page.
