Wilma J. Olson's Obituary
Wilma Jewell Olson passed away April 26, 2010. She was born in Casper, Wyoming on October 19, 1914. Wilma attended Pacific Lutheran College and was a member of the Choir of the West. She worked in the secretarial field and at one time had her own clothing store in Gig Harbor. She especially enjoyed her years living on Herron Island and the Tacoma Lutheran Home. She loved cooking, volunteering, nature, reading, and socializing.
Wilma is survived by step-sons, Richard Olson (Dixie) of Columbus, GA, Bob Olson (Birdie) of Puyallup, and Duane Erickson (Elaine) of Gig Harbor, and many great-grandchildren.
Donations to the Pierce County Humane Society in her name are welcome.
The family would like to thank Hallmark Manor in Puyallup for their wonderful care of Wilma through her last years of life.
