I was sad that I was unable to attend Mrs. Jordan's Homegoing Service. The day of her service, I was just going home from the hospital after having surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Jordan were great friends of my mother and also of our family. We lived accross the street from each other on Sprague St. The Jordans and my mother traveled together to Reno, Portland, and many church usher coventions accross the country. They also worked together for the Tacoma School District Food Service Department. My prayer for the family is, to keep her memory alive within your hearts, and share her love with everyone you meet. She was so very proud of all of you. Our family too, has lost a family member, named Willie Mae Jordan. May the Lord bless all who read this.
