Willie Lee Evans
Willie Lee Evans passed away on April 15, 2009, at the age of 78, surrounded by family and friends. Willie is survived by: 7 children, Bernice Evans-Mazique, Willie Lee Evans Jr., Olivia Goldsby, Glenn Evans, Jeanette Jackson and husband Steve, Arthur Ronnie Evans and wife Sandra, and Gregory Duke Evans; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jettie Mae Potts and Juanita Webb; brother Odell Evans; along with numerous other family and friends. Willie is preceded in death by his wife Tai Okano Evans, 2 brothers Roosevelt and Joseph Evans, sister Lillie Mae Smith, and parents Maggie and Jiles Evans. Willie's Life Celebration will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home and Memorial Park. The Viewing will be April 24, 2009 from 2-9 pm. Service will be 1:00 pm, April 25, 2009 at the Valley Chapel.
