Willie Jr. was born into the Montgomery family on 9/26/47 in Chicago, Illinois. Eldest son of Betty L. Wright (Montgomery) and Willie B. Montgomery, Sr. He was a wonderful husband, father and brother, and his passing will be mourned by many. Willie served his country in the U.S. Army from 1965-1972, and worked in supervisory positions in Pierce County area until his retirement. Willie enjoyed playing and watching sports and working on cars.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lisa Montgomery, son Simeon Montgomery (wife Melissa), and daughter Saquarra Montgomery and stepson Jason Knox. He is survived by his loving brothers and sisters, Gerald Montgomery, Rebecca Montgomery, Loretta Ryan, David Montgomery, Teresa Montgomery and Betty Mae Stewart (Cobb). He is also survived by grandchildren Mercedes, Kenadee and Jew-Ellz.
He joins his parents, his sister Nancy Montgomery and his niece LaShanda Soares in Heaven. Truly, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
