William James Lewis Uren's Obituary
William James Lewis Uren (Bill), 88, passed away on Nov. 29, 2018.
Born in Tacoma to William Sr. and Della Uren.
He joined the Navy at age 18 during the Korean War 1948-52.
He was employed at Brookdale Golf and Country Club as a groundskeeper.
Preceded in death 3 brothers and 3 sisters; Ed Uren, Betty Lanham, Jack Uren, Bonnie Jenkins, Kay Kist and Ted Uren.
He is survived by; son, William (Anita) and daughter, Nancy (Scott). Step children, Connie (Craig) and Russ.
Grand children; Bill Jr. (Tanya), Brandin (Heather), Christina, Cassandra, Amber (Daryl), Kerry, Keith, Craig, Corey (Kassidy), Kyle (Amanda) and Chase.
Great Grandchildren; Caiden, Easton, King, Ava, Vivian, Olivia, Hannah and Chloe.
He continued his passion for grounds keeping and gardening in that he kept his yard and others immaculate.
He played varies sports and was an avid golfer which he made a hole in one at Spanaway Lake in 1976.
