Derrel Von Molnarffy
As a Lakes grad of 1966 Mr. Saxton left a considerable impression upon me that I've never forgotten. He seemed to be cut in a different mold than many others-yes he walked with a very special quiet kind of dignity. I always felt there was a greatness about him that was so deep he never had to impress it on anyone. To me that was the key to understanding why Bob, Bill and Greg (those closest to my class) were such great young men and a big inspiration to all who attended Lakes at that time. I've lived in Europe now for many years-for some time now in an area where the Anglo-Saxons originated and I've often thought of the Saxtons of Lakewood as representing the finest qualities of people. May you now be comforted in your loss knowing also what a wonderful lasting influence your father left on all those who had the privilege to have known him. Thanks also to Bill, Bob and Greg for the good memories of their sportsmanship, gallant battle and many victories shared.
