William Clifton Sacks' Obituary
William C. Sacks
On February 20, 2020, William "Papa" Sacks went to be with his beloved Maggie (Mag as he called her). William was born on February 13, 1929 to Clifton and Matteal Sacks in Leota, Mississippi. William met Maggie in Mississippi and the two started their family having two boys. In 1966, they moved their family to Tacoma, Washington and later had two more boys.
William worked for Atlas Foundry for many years until an injury forced him to retire. He then began his next career, helping raise his grandchildren. This was the career he loved the most!
William leaves behind sons William Jr., Gregory, Ronald (Marshella) and Jeffery (Jeanne), special daughter Laurie (Kelvin); grandsons Andrew (Cherie), Josh, Jordan (Sawako), Jeremy, and Jayden; his precious only granddaughter Megan; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many others he treated as if they were his own kids growing up. His love knew no boundaries. He also leaves behind his beloved sister Molissa (Oliver) and brothers Eddie (Willette) and Sye (Netta).
William will be remembered as a devoted son, husband, and brother, as well as a supportive and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He had a special bond with his grandchildren and loved watching western shows with his sister Molissa (Tookie). He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
