On the morning of March 27, 2004 William Pleasant Sr. died of natural causes and went to be with the Lord. Â"GrampsÂ" will be remembered for his quick wit, passion for the piano, his family, and the Lord.Born in McCormick, WA on September 15, 1914 he married Edith Marguerite Nelson at 23 years of age. Retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after more than 30 years of service, William was a proud Army Veteran after serving during WWII.He is survived by Marguerite Nelson, loving wife of 66 years; brother Gene Pleasant; daughter Karen Hamilton; son William Pleasant Jr.; and daughter Jennifer Jennison and husband Bruce. Grandchildren Carrie Serrano and husband Michael, Debbie Alves and husband Steve, Shawn Jennison and wife Jodi, and Jamie Jennison. Great grandchildren Bergen Serrano, Nikolas Alves, Michael Serrano Jr., and Madeline Alves.A memorial service will be held on Wednesday the 31st of March at 1:00 PM, Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd., Tacoma, WA 98499.
