William Terence Logan's Obituary
William “Terence” Logan, 55 passed away on December 20, 20211 in Portland, OR. Terence was born January 6, 1966 in Easley, South Carolina to the late William and Margaret Logan. He was the youngest boy of four children. Terence was a loving father to Miles and Kayla and a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend.
Terence grew up in a military family and lived all over the world. His family settled in Tacoma, WA where he graduated from Clover Park High School where he excelled in football and wrestling. In 1987, Terence joined the U.S. Navy where he served as an Operations Specialist 2nd Class directing and controlling aircraft and managing mine infested waters during strenuous conditions (Desert Storm). He was a great shipmate to all and impacted so many young sailors' lives. Terence received many awards and accolades while he served. His leadership showed in his ability to act under pressure.
In 1992, Terence came to Oregon to visit his brother Timmy and liked it and decided to move to Portland. He enjoyed living in Portland and worked across different industries. Spending time with family and friends was his favorite thing to do. The many people that loved him will tell you everyday that he loved making people laugh.
Terence was preceded in death by his brother Joey (2003) and parents William (2009) and mother Margaret (2012). He leaves to mourn his passing his son Miles of Portland, OR, daughter Kayla of Caro, MI, brother Tim (Marta) of Portland, OR, sisters Tahnett Mack, (Charlotte, NC) and Whitney Logan (Maine) and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
