William Lawrence Russell's Obituary
William Lawrence Russell has passed away on February 21, 2005, after a short but brave fight with Melanoma. He was born March 31, 1959 in Moses Lake, Washington. A 1978 graduate of Charles Wright Academy, Bill worked nationally in construction quality control and quality assurance on large scale projects including Tacoma Dome, Safeco Field, SeattleÂ's Union Station, Amgen and, most recently, the new Tacoma Narrows Bridge. He was extremely proud of the work he has done. Bill was predeceased by his father, Arthur James Russell. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann; his two children Sophie and Cashmir; his mother Lillian, brother Arthur James, Jr, both of Tacoma; sisters Christine (Tim) Pinkham, of Oakland, California; Katherine (Charles) Bond, of Berkeley, California; and Elizabeth (Peter) Arnold, of Puyallup, Washington; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Senecal, Dr. Hammer, Dr. OÂ'Day and their staff for the outstanding medical care and The Lamp Stand Family Ministries of Puyallup for spiritual support. A memorial service to celebrate BillÂ's life will be held at the chapel of Charles Wright Academy on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.
