William G. Jones Sr.'s Obituary
William G. Jones Sr. 90, of Tacoma, WA passed away at his home of 60 years on March 17, 2020. Born July 15, 1929, the eldest of 13 children, in Paris, AR. to George Rufus & Reina Jones. He is proceeded in death by his parents, siblings Rose Ann Wood, Bobby Jones, Edith Watson, Mary Stewart, Margaret Sue Bruce, Henry Jones, Kenneth Jones, Donald Jones and Nina Jones. Survived by his brother Rufus Eugene Jones of Tacoma, Debbie Ugbade and Linda May both in AR. William is the father of 6 children William G. Jones Jr. (Teena) of Tacoma, Travis Jones in MO, Phyllis Gail Jones in WA DC, Don Jones of Tacoma, Phyllis Lynnette Jones in OH, and Patricia Green of Tacoma. William has 8 grandchildren Hayden, Meleah, Winford, Jea’annette, Kevin, Travis, Fred and Mike. 5 great grandchildren Ka’Marii, Treyvon, Roman, Fred and Kau’daijah. William was a faithful member of Miles Memorial CME of Tacoma. He retired from FFV Interbake Foods after 30 years of service. William loved spending time in the country with his horses and working on projects. His laugh will be missed by all his family, which includes many nieces, nephews and family friends.
