Bill and Mary were great contributors to the Foothills Trail and the Foothills Rails to Trails Coalition, we thank both of you. Bill and Mary rented a bulldozer for one of the first openings of the Foothills trail in the Arline Road area on former land of the Solar Farm. They also got grants and purchased the steel for the Coalition Bridge which were referenced as part of the Bridges to Nowhere. The Haire's also purchased a parcel of land for the trail by east of Bernies Place outside of Orting to Voight Creek Bridge. The Coalition Bridge area between South Prairie and Buckley was opened for the public about a month age, wish you could have seen it. Hope Mary can. My only association with Bill and Mary was through association with the Foothills Trail. Bill we will miss you and you were a great person and thanks for your devotion to Swan Creek
