I, too, feel as if I should write about Bill here...what more can I say except it still seems impossible that he's gone. I think of him every day (and you, too) and wish there had been just a bit more time to spend with him. Many times I could have come to visit, and didn't....I would take those days back if I could, and would have been there!! I know we'll all be together again someday on the Other Side; along with both sets of parents, all the pets,and others, Bill will be among the first to greet us! LOVE YOU, Big Sis! Dear Gayle:
It was with deep regret that I learned of the death of your husband Bill. Understandably at a time like this the normal business of living becomes seriously disrupted, and the accompanying problems, adjustments and changes which we must face are very trying and difficult. It may be of some comfort to you that I share in your sorrow.
Although I did not see much of Bill after the Guard, I vividly recall our days with the Guard and the many fun times we had together during those years. Bill made our world a better place to live and work as he was a good man and was respected by all who knew him.
My thoughts and sympathies are with you in your bereavement. If there is any way that I can be of assistance, please let me know.

I was so shocked to read of Bill's passing. He will be missed by so many friends and loved ones.
I started working for the City at the Motor Pool in the Police Garage. Bill & I were the "youngsters"! We had so much fun and there were so many pranks pulled by Bill & other mechanics. I became friends with Bill & later with Gayle. We grew apart after I promoted to the Admin. Div. I last saw him at my retirement 3 yrs. ago. He looked great & was very happy & relaxed.
Bill enjoyed life to the fullest & deeply loved Gayle & the many memories they made together.
I won't be able to attend the funeral as my husband, Pete, & I are leaving for Reno Sat. morning. I'll always remember my friend & co-worker & the good times we had. I'll have his favorite Black Velvet & toast him on Sat. Our loss is great.
