William D. Parker's Obituary
Bill took his final cruise and went home to the Lord on September 25, 2005 in Gig Harbor, WA. He was born in Tacoma, WA on October 23, 1930 and spent most of his life in Tacoma. Bill graduated from Stadium High School and then served his country in the U.S. Air Force before joining the family business, Parker Paint Company. He was an avid boater and a lifetime member of the Day Island Yacht Club, and a member of the Puyallup Elks #1450. Bill is survived by his wife Joan, his daughter Debbie Clark, 3 sons, Donald (Sandie) Parker, Steve (Deèna Griffin) Zimmerman and Randy Zimmerman; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister Eva Brown and his son Gregory Parker.Memorial contributions may be made to the AlzheimerÂ's Association or a charity of your choice.Viewing will be from 1:00 Â- 9:00 PM on Thursday, September 29 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Services to celebrate BillÂ's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 30, 2005 in the Mountain View Valley Chapel.
