William Ervin Caddey's Obituary
William E. Caddey, 91 of Tacoma passed away peacefully on January 15, 2019. Born in Tacoma on May 24, 1927, he was a retired CPA and a WWII Navy Veteran. William (Bill) is survived by his sisters Amber Wick and Dorothy Loucks of Tacoma, and his brother Jim Caddey (Trish) of Port Ludlow. He is also survived by his two sons, Eric (Laura) of University Place and Alan of Edmonds. He has six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his wife Jean, and his son Stan. Bill attended Stadium High School and earned a BA in Accounting at UPS. Bill served in the Navy and returned to Tacoma to marry his high school sweetheart, Jean Bergstrom. They were married for 58 years until her death in 2006. Bill was a public accountant in the Tacoma area for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, ice skating and roller blading. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 on February 2, 2019, at Abundant Grace Church, 2213 N. Warner St., in Tacoma. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
