William Bones Sr. born on 6/11/1924 lived his life as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many died August 13, 2008 surrounded by his family. William Bones was a veteran in the armed services serving in World War II. He worked for the Federal Government for 42 years and retired from McChord AFB. He was a devoted member of the Sacred Heart church. He was proceeded in death by his mother Kitty Smith and brother Alfred Smith. He is survived by his wife Ruth of 56 years of marriage and his brother Royal Nicholas. two sisters-in-law Mary bell (Alfred) Terry and Willa Horn. Seven children Barbara, William, Ronnie, Sandra, Pamela, Jacquline and Gwendolyn. 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Many nephews and nieces, The funeral will take place at Sacred Heart Church, Thursday on 8/21/2008 at 11:00 A.M, the Rosary will be at 10:30 A.M and viewing at 10:00 A.M.
