William "Bill" T. Park's Obituary
William "Bill" T. Park was born on January 20th, 1928 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and passed away peacefully on March 4, 2017 in Tacoma, Washington. He was one of seven children born to Everett and Clara Park.
Bill completed the 10th grade in traditional schooling and went on to get his GED while serving his country. He began as a Merchant Seaman in the U.S. Coast Guard. After that, he served time in the US Army Air Corps, US Army and at the Bremerton Naval Shipyard. Following his career path, he completed numerous other educational courses.
In his downtime, Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and vegetable gardening. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Seattle Mariners fan.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; sons Michael and Gary (Anita) Park; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery on Wednesday, March 15th at 10:30am.
