William O. Bergstrom

On January 20th William made his journey home to be with his Lord and Savior. William was a lifelong resident of Tacoma. He graduated from Lincoln High School, served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and worked 37 years as a firefighter for the Fort Lewis Fire Department.
His is survived by two daughters, Nancy Barger (William) and Deborah Myrvik (Loren); 3 granddaughters, 1 grandson and 4 great-grandsons. William was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Graveside services will be held at 10am, Friday, January 30 at Tahoma National Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 2pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 5236 East “B” Street , Tacoma. In Lieu of flowers family requests memorials to the Church.
