William "Bill" Lee Beatty's Obituary
William "Bill" L Beatty passed away unexpectedly from this life on April 21st 2025. He was born on May 22nd, 1957 in Tacoma, WA to Billy Eugene and Lola Mae. Bill lived a life of wanting to teach, coach, or entertain others.
Bill graduated from Mt. Tahoma High School in 1975 and went on to earn a Psychology degree with an emphasis on Elementary Education from the University of Washington.
Bill loved coaching youth sports and had numerous successes doing so. He also loved being a school teacher and was well respected amongst former students and peers. He earned teacher of the year one years at Sherman Elementary. Bills long time passion for over 40 years was being a balloon artist. His first venture was "Beefy the Balloon Clown". He eventually transitioned into what everyone knew him as; Dr Twistin. He was a multitalented performer which included: balloon art, magic tricks, juggling, bubble tricks, and good old jokes (stale or not). He was all set to add yo-yo tricks at the time of his passing. He loved performing and loved seeing kids big and small smile.
Bill is preceded in death by his mother Lola Mae and father Billy Eugene. He is survived by his sister Becky, brother Randy (Cheri), several nieces, nephews, and a whole lot of extended family and friends.
