Willard B. Pace's Obituary
Lifetime resident of the greater Tacoma Area passed away after a short battle with cancer. Born to John B. and Signa Anderson Pace in Tacoma. Bill graduated from Lincoln High School. He served in the Burma Theater in WWII. Bill retired after a long career with the Railroad in 1982. He was an active Mason for more than 60 years, serving in many positions. Bill loved fishing the Puget Sound as much as he loved golfing. Up until a year ago he cut and stacked six cords of wood each summer. Bill spent much of his spare time tending his garden flowers. He also Â"mallÂ" walked miles each morning. Father, grandfather, and dear friend, Bill is already missed.A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on June 25th at the Masons Hall at 3736 S. Sheridan, Tacoma 98418.Any memorial contributions may be made to Franciscan Hospice, 2901 Bridgeport Way, Suite 128, University Place, WA 98466.
