Wilford Joseph McCann's Obituary
Wilford Joseph McCann Wilford (Will) McCann, of Tacoma, WA, entered into eternal peace on July 27, 2015 at the age of 68. His final days were spent surrounded by his loving family. Will was born on August 9, 1946 in Bottineau, ND. He served in the US Army from 1963-1966, after which he moved to Tacoma where he met and married Ginger Swartout. Will and Ginger had 3 children together, Clinton McCann, Donna (Michael) Brooks, and Dianne McCann. Will worked as a truck driver for many years before becoming self-employed. He was a people person at heart, and strived to help others whenever possible. He was a Mason and a very active member of Alcoholics Anonymous. Will was sober for over 36 years, and dedicated his life to helping others achieve sobriety. Will was preceded in death by his parents Clinton and Clara McCann, his brother Robert Gagner, his wife Ginger, and his wife Hilda Gail. He is survived by his companion and caregiver Kathleen Zaczkowski, 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, his brother Lee (Linda) Gagner, his sisters June (Fred) Arthur and Diane (Allan) Anderson, and many other family and friends.
