Weston Corwin Aldrich's Obituary
Weston Corwin Aldrich Weston Corwin Aldrich passed away on May 16 at age 102. He was born in Tacoma October 24, 1905 to Ida and Porter Aldrich, one of six children. Weston attended Franklin Elementary School, graduated from Stadium High School, and attended the College of Puget Sound for two years and the University of Washington for one year. In 1932 he married his high-school sweetheart, Violet Anderson, who preceded him in death by only three days. Aldrich retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1965 after a 30-year career. He was an active member of Epworth LeSourd Methodist Church for 80 years, where he served as president of the Board of Trustees. Weston was also preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roy and Forrest, and sisters Iris Sherman and Ethel Aldrich. He is survived by his brother Willard Aldrich, brother and sister-in-law Clayton and Linda Anderson, nieces Joy White and Suzanne Schmidt, and nephew Frederick Sherman.
