Wayne Reed Powell's Obituary
Wayne Reed Powell, 63 of Steilacoom Washington, beloved family member passed away suddenly at home on June 18, 2007. He was born on April 6, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Betty Fitt and Harry James Powell. Wayne enjoyed many years as a truck driver. He loved camping and fishing. In addition to his family, his greatest passion was singing, music, and playing his guitar. Wayne was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was preceded in death by his sister Charlotte Bradley and stepdaughter Jamie Blevins. He is survived by his mother Betty (Fitt) Bradley, brother Joe Bradley, former wife Sammy (Reid) Kennedy, sons Wallace Powell (Melanie), and Jimmie Powell; daughters Sherisse Ziemer (Don) and Lori Guiterrez (Jason); former wife Sheila (Blevins) Powell, stepson Nicholas Blevins, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many other dear friends and family members. Viewing is at Mountain View Funeral Home Fri. June 29, 2007 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service is at the LDS Church at 10012 Farwest Drive S.W. on Sat. June 30 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a grave side service and reception at Mountain View.
