I worked with Wayne and Dorothy many years ago. I remember when my grandfather died. Wayne and Dorothy came to my house and Wayne planted a tree in my front yard to honor my grandfathers memory. Often when I look at that tree I see my grandfather and Wayne and Dorothy. I will always remember the both of them.

Wayne was a neighbour of mine and a fine fellow. I remember him walking his dog and taking care of his wife. He was heartbroken when he found that he could no longer take care of Dorothy in the home. We spoke often when we met on the street. I found out asymmetrically that he had passed and am deeply saddened to hear of it. May the peace that had left his life now be restored.
I remember Wayne Morris as the Executive Director of Tacoma Housing Authority. I didn't work long maybe 3 years with him, but he left a lasting memory to me. I had a traumatic experience at my house when he was ED and he sent me a personal note that had meaning. Later in life, he was a good friend to my husband (not knowing that he was ED of THA until later) that he would meet at Starbucks and talk about life. Wayne became good friends with my husband and was upset when he found out he passed away, from a barista at Starbucks at Westgate. RIP Wayne, you were special. My husband said he has the next coffee!
