Wayne L. Simpson, Jr.
1939-2008
With his loving and devoted wife at his side, Wayne completed his journey of life on August 3, 2008. Wayne was born in Great Falls, MT on May 16, 1939 and lived there until 1978 when he relocated to the Puget Sound area. After holding jobs as a chemist, department store controller and distribution manager, he co-founded RAS Granite and Marble in 1990. Wayne loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a deeply spiritual man, believing his awareness will live on forever. He faced cancer with determination and courage accepting the challenges before him with grace and dignity. He is an inspiration to us all. Wayne leaves behind his wife Jan Davis, son Scott Simpson, step-daughters Karen Calderon, Susan (Bill) Harrell, Kate Davis, sister Gayle (Lance) Harvey, brother Rodger (Kate) Simpson, step-father Chester Boswell, many nieces and nephews and his beloved grandchildren Jacob and Hannah Calderon, Erica and Kyle Harrell. A Memorial service will be held in the Aspen Chapel at Mt. View Funeral Home on August 9, 2008 at 12:00pm followed by a reception. A special thank you goes to Dr. Jay Klarnet and staff and Multicare Hospice, Lisa, Kristin, Peg, Julie and Regina.
